Hassan Jeraj; Investor Relations at Serone Capital presents at ABN AMRO’s AIF Factor in Amsterdam
Serone Capital Management was short-listed to present at ABN AMROs Amsterdam Investor Forum held in February 2016, which is now in its fifth year. The Amsterdam Investor Forum brings leading investment managers and alternative thought leaders to Amsterdam.
Serone Key Opportunities Fund applied and was one of five managers selected from a high volume of candidates to present to more than 200 attendants including investors and peers. The format was a 3 minute “elevator pitch”. A panel of investors then offered their feedback.
Marketing is a key part of any business. Passionate employees or owners will find it a challenging task to narrow down and concisely explain why a potential client should seriously consider purchasing their offering. There can be many good reasons, some simple others very detailed.
In our case one needed to be able to explain the fund strategy in such a way that identified the key points, but also provide a level of detail that engaged the audience. It’s quite a task, especially given the nature of the securitised products, conveying the differentiated way in which we invest and a very limited time frame.
We were pleased to have been selected and also gaining publicly voiced support for our fund from several prominent allocators on the panel.
